The Mutter Museum, located at 19 S 22nd St, Philadelphia, PA 19103, will offer a Sensory Friendly Sunday experience this Sunday, January 12, 2020! The Sensory Friendly Sunday event will run from 9:00 am - 11:00 am.
The Mutter Museum is best known for its quirky collection of medical-related treasures. If you or your child has always wanted to check out the skulls, brains, models, and other medical mayhem, this is your chance! The Mutter Museum recommends their space for individuals aged 11 and up, as the nature of their exhibits may be disturbing to young children.
This sensory-friendly event will feature:
A less crowded early morning opening
A designated quiet space with snacks
Optional 20-30 minute guided tours
Stations with touchable objects (for those tactile seekers!)
Admission is pay-what-you-wish. However, you must pre-register for the event here!
